Off again - Monday 7th July

Tomorrow Im off to Amsterdam. Have spent the last few weeks back in Bristol. Haven't really sorted out as much as I'd have liked. I've applied to do some conservation work in Austria next month which I am still waiting to hear back from. Started looking into skiing jobs but after I found out it cost like six grand to become an instructor I kind of gave up but might look into it again closer to the winter. Went to Newquay with the uni lot last weekend. Ended up the usual mess and was absolutely hanging yesterday when I got back to Bristol having stayed up all night Saturday to catch the early morning bus back to Bristol. Definitely worth it though, had a quality few days. Im not sure when I will get a chance to update this thing next, depending on how I get on sailing.

Plans coming together - Wednesday 25th June

Well its not really coming together I just know where Im going next and have started trying to work out what to do the rest of the year. Also tried to make a bit of money playing poker solid for the first few days I got back. Came close to dropping the Sunday million on pokerstars, came 360th out of 6000 people. first place was $150,000. Needless to say it would have been fucking awesome if I had won that. Instead I ended up winning about $700 most of which I've lost now. I'm sure its just a matter of time until I have my first big win, but then I've been saying that for years. Ive just booked a flight to Amsterdam for the 8th of July where Im supposed to be meeting up with Clive and crew onboard the Nothin Wong. Ive also been looking into doing Volunteer work later on in the year and have to start applying for Ski season jobs somewhere. Would also really like to get to Vegas at some point this year. Spoke to Joey on the phone last night who reminded me that Glastonbury starts today and I really really want to go. Ive wanted to go for the last several years and always seem gutted after its over that I didnt. So tempted to jump on a bus tomorrow and try and grab a last minute ticket. Been looking into it all day today and found a guy on ebay who's flogging them for £100 but theres always the risk that its a scam. I cant really afford it but I just like doing things at the last minute. Well its not that I like doing things at the last minute, I just like the fact that I can.
